The Psychology of Working with Cross-border Clients
The CIGA Network member Frank van Lerven, will be sharing his expertise and knowledge working with cross-border clients.
Look beyond the technical side of cross-border financial planning
1. Understand that successful cross-border financial planning requires more than technical knowledge.
2. Discuss the cross-cultural skills necessary to conduct cross-border planning effectively.
3. Learn ways to develop cross-cultural soft skills.
4. Be elligible for 1 CE CFP Credit * Participants will only receive it if they join the live session for a minimum of 50 minutes. The recording will be available to view if registrant is not able to join live, but there won’t be CFP credit.
Frank R. van Lerven is part of ISGAM, a team that has been working together for over 30 years. Originally a Psychology graduate of the University of Groningen, Frank made the transition to personal finance in 1987 and now holds a UK Financial Planning Certificate, a CFP® certification in the U.S., and is an active member of the FPA (Financial Planning Association). Frank has advised expatriate investors, particularly in SE Asia and the Middle East, for the last 30 years and specializes in working with affluent individuals, couples, and families with complex financial planning challenges. He is now based in Europe.
